I replaced the push rod for a stock manual brake rod, stock backing plate,I retained the stock power brake proportioning valve and stock master cylinder. I bled the brakes front and rear, O.K. After said and done My front two calipers locked to the rotors and will not release unless I open up a bleeder screw. What is the problem now ? I have a line lock connected, working fine. 73 challenger, Thanks to all for your help.

Push rod too long and not releasing pressure could be one problem

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

You need to have a slight gap between the MC piston and push rod when the MC is bolted in. I shoot for 1/8" gap.
