I am trying to help someone out that has a 93 Caravan 3 liter V6. I went over and put on a new serpentine belt but the Idler pulley appears to be crooked. The new belt imediately jumped a couple of grooves over on the power stearing pump pulley and is staying there (so far). I have never owned or worked on anything like this, just trying to help someone that has very limited funds. Does it need a new idler ($70 at the Zone) or is there anything that comes loose or adjusts? Is this a simple 10 minute job or do I need to allow myself an evening to do this?
