I took most of last week off and worked my butt off to get her back together so I can finally race it this season. I gotta quit taking it apart without having all the pieces! I seem to run out of money before I get it all done? The carburetor, air cleaner, plug wires, radiator, vacuum pump, master cylinder, brake lines, fiberglass hood are all new this year. I also welded the cowl vents shut, re-worked the radiator support, and the inner fenders. I re-painted the entire front clip and it has to be re-done again! Color matches terrible and the sanding scratches shrunk bad in the hood. I'm going to wait until I get it backhalved and then re-paint the entire car. I'm just happy to have it running at this point. I have a hard time remembering it's just a flippin race car! I just hope everything works ok this weekend.

Thank You. I'm a body man, so that means I have the body man's curse. nothing is never good enough. I get a bunch of crap at the track, because I'm always polishing on stuff. I always see the flaws and they drive me nuts!

I plan to Al. Right now I could care less about sanding scratches and mis-matched color. I'll deal with that later. I just want to go beat on it!

Thanks for all nice comments guys. BillyJay, your 63' is awesome. I want mine to have the same stance and as yours. I have one of the rear tire pics of your car as my screen saver to remind me to keep after it. I already have the 14X32 Hoosiers on 15X14 wheels down in the basement. Now it's time to start collecting the rest of the new parts for the backhalve. I'm not going to take it apart again until I have all the parts and time, or it breaks. It will probably break first. Always does.
