anyone have pics or suggestions on what i need to do to put a 318 with an automatic into my 52 dodge business coupe? any help would be great.

Yes, take a look at this site for a lot of info you will need and how that flatty might be the way to go.

Things to consider:
Wiring = 6V positive ground to 12V negative ground.
Brakes = double the HP and you should upgrade the brakes.
Cooling = make sure you have enough to make all that hard work live.

They did sell a "kit" to install a V8 in a FWD, and they have various parts to swap stuff around in 60s-up stuff, but I've never seen or heard of early swap parts. The closest they got was the street rod manual I asked about early this year. The guy still is selling copies.

It was several years ago, a "universal" kit to put an LA into a 48-52 ish MoPar, basically a repackaged kit from a more common street rod shop. It was, essemtally, a cut to width engine crossmember with ears for spool mounts.

Not real sophisicated.
