It's like that on my 500 13.7-1 comp. It delivers 840Hp and I'm considering giving 150Hp from the bottle.
Can the 1009 handle this?

The 1009 wouldn't be my choice for a head gasket w/ that combination. Sounds like o-rings w/ copper or MLS territory, to me.

ARP studs and Cometic head gaskets might also do.
we are running a 572 with 14.8 to 1 916 hp with this setup and so far so good.
