I have a 1968 b-body, I'am planning on recond. the rear springs (new bushings, liners, etc.) I thought I would sandblast them first. Any pros or cons? Good or bad?

Just wire brush them down and paint them. You will never be able to get all the sand out from between the leaves - grindy grindy!
