I just reinstalled my carbs after a rebuild and I went to reattach the linkage that connects the outboard carbs the the center one. It seems like something is missing where the linkage goes into the crescent shaped slot on the center carb. Check out the picture. There is a small nylon ring behind the cotter pin that seems to be too loose. Any ideas?

there is a sleeve with a lip on it that goes in the slot on the center carb. i think i see the rim of it under the lip of the stud there- the second washer looking thingie from the top.

i'd have to go out to the shop to make sure what mine looks like. take a picture of all the parts disassembled and i can tell better

my setup is as follows
stud through the carb linkage
flat washer
front rod
rear rod

cotter pin
same as yours...lose the nylon thing
