I tried Plastikote because I had good luck with it several years ago. Sanded and primed air cleaner. New stuff is no good, very splotchy, runs easily, didn't crinkle right even with heat and 3 coats as instructions say. I believe Valspar bought them out since I last used them.

Used Eastwoods and had phenomenal results!! First I stripped all Plastikote with a stripper, TSP, some light sanding, then wiped with paint thinner and enamel reducer for perfectly clean surface. Sprayed 2 semi-thick coats within 3 minutes of each other, as instructed. Closed garage doors and let it heat up for a few hours and excellent results!! Still have half a can left for next one.
