They are being machined in the USA right now. I was told we'd have them last month, but apparently that was a farse.
They were supposed to be ready for shipping last month, but so far, no one at RHS/Comp can give me a straight answer.
I do know I'm first on their list of orders, so I hope to get them on here, evaluate them and share pics and info.
Then we'll port them at different stages to see what kind of cost>gain we can get.
Brian

Are those the same as the ones listed on the bag?

Pro-action or something to that affect. I remember them having the same specs as the ones in the link above.

RHS is the old pro-topline, made in NZ. the chinese ones are procomps.

thought they were. the old pro topline became southern performance after a management change. comp cams had their finger in the pie. they relocated the operation to china.
they were taking moulds off my Indy -1's when the order came thru to relocate. if comp cams hadn't done that we would have some more max wedge heads to choose from. all the uncompleted & r&d stuff went into the bin. they had copied almost every ford & chevy head available & were making improvements before they would make there own copy. there were some clever dickies in that outfit, shame it went to china.

The ones listed claim to be cast in NZ and not the pro-comp heads.

This is copied from the ad.....

* Mopar 360 magnum style engines 5.9 ltr not early style engines
* cast in New Zealand @ Pro Topline Which is now RHS This is not at all the Procomp style product
* Bare Castings
* Cast Iron
* 179cc intake & 67cc exhaust runners with a 62cc combustion chamber
* Hardened multi-angle intake (1.920") & radiused exhaust (1.625") valve seats
* Highly efficient water jacket for cooler, more efficient engine operation

My order guy at Comp told me they have arrived from New Zealand, and are being machined as I type.

umm. they stopped production over 2 years ago. i know the owner of the foundry Bob reasonbly well & was offered some of the equipment that wasn't being shipped to China. I was loading up my trailer when the furnace was being dismantled. that foundry is now a storage facility storing Chrysler Crossfires & Jeeps. i drive past it every other week, not much changes there. there is no way they're producing these heads here now, if they were i'm sure Bob would have given me a set as he was one of my sponsors a few years back.

Indy has a stack of them,so they came from somewhere. RHS was out of stock a few weeks ago but the whole first order apparently went to INDY. Todd

There's 2 head designs, one is early LA style, and the other is Magnum style.
The magnum's might have a 1.92 valve, I'm not sure though.
The LA style has a 2.02 stock.

I've never seen a 2.02" valve flow over about 66 CFM @ .100" so, if
it's off that much at .100", I have a hard time with the rest of them.

this is from the rhs web site....

Quote:

Hardened multi-angle intake (1.920") & radiused exhaust (1.625") valve seats for up to 5% more flow out of the box

They dont mention a 2.02 intake...

I was sure that's what I was told, but looks like your right, 1.92 valves for both.
Still waiting for our set....

I just ordered and received a pair of them for the Magnum motor. I have the 2.02/1.60 valves.

Completely assembled and ready to bolt on they are $1300.

They are for my 2000 Dak with the blower.
