I'm surprised hasn't gotten ahold of one of head designs and digitized it and sell copies of it. Life in the modern age of reverse engineering and everything digital.

to my knowledge,,,, bucky had the highest auto mph,, i thought 153.3 or something,, though that doesnt win the race. the reason not too many cars showed up at columbus was because all the trouble with getting down with a hemi car. for the weekend or day,, i was most impressed with mike bogina running an 9.38 at 140.something and fred running an 8.67 with his old barton motor,, though i know the heads were tuned up a little,, that still is running well. also mike volkman in a 318 gt/ia who was #1 qualifer beat dave layer in class,, i think mike was a 10.14 or so.
and if youre waiting for to stop by and say hi or something charlie,, dont hold your breath,, though im sure you have just as much to say to me as i do to you,,,,, nothing.
congrats sr,,, he even had great lights just about every run.

well charlie i didnt mean any insults toward you. and as far as joey's car goes,, 150k for the turn key car,, spare motor, and other extra parts,, thats a good deal. i bought a house this year,, and a few other things,, im not in the position to put out 150k myself and then get a truck and trailer. i told joey,, which i guess he told you,, if i got a partner to split half that i could buy out in a year or two,, id probably do it,, well i got one guy who said yes,, the other was getting back with me today,, but i guess ill go my other route,, and yes i will have an a/h car next year and hopefully i get my business in line so i have time to get it finished and out. maybe you can find someone to buy joey's car,, since me buying it was so funny.

I totally agree its a steal, and nothing would make me happier than for a moron who knows absolutely nothing about racing to buy it than it would go from a threat, to another one of your 9 second players.

at that particular race, out of 11 cars, #8 and #11 had MCH port design. top 5 cars had my head design, and 4 had my intake. I raced for several years, and had results to back up what I said before I voiced my opinion. The proof is in the pudding as they say, the guy in detroit that has never done a burnout (although he knows a few) will fade away from the limelight, and one fast customer (houser) will not pay the light bill. Like I said, nothing would make me happier than for him to buy wilkes car, I heard 6 months ago how jim keyes was going to come to indy and show the way, I am still waiting for that prediction to come true. Like I told him 4 years ago, port heads and leave the engine building to people who have a clue.
