Avon Skin So Soft. No kidding, guys swear by it, I have used it on interior panels and it looked great. Then I thought if I get some with UV protectant.... It also keeps the mosquitoes away...

I have used Armor All on my vinyl top for over 20 years. It does not fade nor harm the top. This is a replacement top from Legendary. What I typically do is wipe the top down with a heavy coat of Armor All, then I wash the car with a typical car wash soap. This removes the excess product, but leaves a nice clean, not overly shiny top. The 303 Aerospace protectant seems to be good too but its pricey, so I went back to Armor All.
This works well for me in the Chicago/Midwest summer sun. Those that are in the Southern half of the country where you get more sun, may have different experiences.

Before there was ArmorAll, we used Lemon Pledge.
Some of us still do, use it on tires too. ArmorAll appeals to those who like the slick oily look.
