Getting ready to install a set of louvers. Anyone have some clear pictures or measurements of the top and lower mounting points? Any tips?
Thanks Ken

sorry I don't mean to hi-jack this post, but do Ebody's use grain textured and painted window trim with louvers, or the same stainless trim.

You can play this card game 2 ways.......factory install, got the textured mouldings, which were aluminum,..... mandatory black vinyl roof/black mouldings only,......if you had a dealer install the louvers the day you bought the car new,....skys the limit, vinyl, no vinyl, polished rear window trim,...if it was 1970, you could have had a dealer install louvers on your ModTop Cuda, along with a luggage rack ....anythings possible

Not trying to High-Jack this thread, but I know of a 1970 Hemi Cuda that received Rear Window Louvers and a Luggage Rack from Chrysler from the factory and not the Dealership. Only Cuda I know that got this. Factory Dealer Books said you could not get those two option together.

You might get some crap for saying you had to have a vinyl roof with louvers from the factory. The guy that runs the AAR registry says he's seen a couple of louver cars that weren't coded for a vinyl roof. I would suspect if that's true, those cars didn't have the textured trim either.

IIRC- the factory lit only states that IF a vinyl top is ordered with the backlight louver package, that the top MUST be black. I parted a '70 340 4-spd 'Cuda with the louver package and it had the standard stainless rear window trim.
