for some reason the car is bein a slug big time and i've almost run out of options to see why it's running this way. but i do have the cam in straight up and a .629 lift exhaush and .620 intake and i'm at .095 clearance now on exhaust. if i advance it will it bring that closer of farther apart?

more advance closer, think its about 10 thou for each degree, go 4 degrees more max with auto and your setup

advance the cam and your exh. piston to valve will get larger and the int. piston to valve will get smaller. Be sure to recheck piston to valve clr after changes are made.

Advancing brings the intake closer, retarding brings the exhaust closer. I see about .025 for every 2 degrees
