If it's a sure grip both wheels off the ground, turn the wheels one full revoltution while watching the driveshaft, count the number of turns the drive shaft makes.. 3 turns is probably a 2.94, 3 1/2 turns is around a 3.55... Open diff, one wheel off the ground, watch the driveshaft, two full revolutions of the wheel.. 3 turns is still a 2.94...
