I did it on our Dart and and have mixed feelings about it. Performance wise , I don't think it made much difference, maybe helped the drivability of it @ 130 mph. What I was after is the front end would not settle and was still riding high at the finish line, and that problem is gone. I had koni's, drilled stock shocks and QA1's and it still did it, so I swapped it to Afco coil overs and now it goes through at normal ride height.

I did the swap about 15 years ago(last time I had
T-bars), it made about .15 better in the 60' but I
did a couple of things to it then, it did transfer
the weight better.

we have run both front setups.normally torsion bars sem to push the front up a little quicker and a little higher.but like what was stated it also holds the front up more downtrack hurting driveabilty.the biggest gain from coilovers is header clearance.you have better driveabilty with coilovers and more adjustabilty.it is hard to get a coilover long enough on the front of a mopar to get the travel that you have with a torsionbar setup.one of the best things you can do on a mopar front is to use a strutrod with the heimends like bill reily sells.they free up the front of the car and make it much better to handle

I agree with that, I bought the strut rods same time as the coil overs from Rielly and now it stages like a dragster, no flex or movement, really helps when bumping in.
