Do these transmissions share the same torque specs for the front and rear band adjustments thanks Brian

The torque specs are not the same for these transmissions. The only thing they share is that you run them into 72inch pounds and then back them off their rec'd turns. Sorry I do not know the turns for each, but I know they are different.

carl monroes book is a good read on the torqueflight trannys

it goes by the ratio stamped on the lever that works the band...3.8-4.2 5.0...ect

and set acordinly...

with the ratio "unknowen" it said to run it in to 72 inch/lbs and back off 2 1/2 turns
