i would like to add a shift light to my car. is there one that is a shift light only that i can hook up and work with my 2 1/4 tach. the car isn't really a race car but a 12 sec street sleeper. i want to hide the shift light in the dash behind the fasten seat belt dummy light. thanks

Yes you can use a Auto Meter Pro control. It's just a switch box which is adjustable for any RPM. It has open and closed contacts. Hook it up to anything you want.

there are several, do a search at summit or jegs. i use a autometer warning light and fire it off my mallory hifire box's rpm window switch. or you can buy a stand alone rpm window switch and use it to power any light you want.

Get in touch with Ron Silva and ask him how he did his Demon, if I remember he used the seat belt light.

Google "Raptor Shift light". They make a very small one that can be hidden if needed. My son has one on his car and I am going to get one for mine.

I used this MSD item to light a "Slow Down" light I installed in my dash as a shift light, just pop in the pill for the desired RPM.
