It is made by Fel-Pro,do you have to run gaskets with these or just seal up the 4 corners and go? Thanks all.

Stock intake,or the old CH4B or whatchya call it for a B motor if I find one at the shows.I know the pros' n' cons',dont need specifics. I dont drive in the winter other than starting once a month or so,and it'll help in the summer. Thanks all.

I run the gasket between the head and the aluminum pan gasket. The heads have been milled a little so it justs give me some extra insurance no oil gets sucked. At least put a thin layer of sealant on the head to help yourself sleep easier at night!!

I use permatex #2 on both sides of the tin valley gasket SPARINGLY. Many run them as is w no issues but I dont think that the tin is pliable enough to seal well on it's own . I would mock it up 1st & check the port alignment & mill the intake/head face to correct it.

This is what I do PLUS it INSULATES the intake from direct contact with the pan to help keep it cooler .

As long as you use either a manual choke or an electric choke you'll be FINE blocking the crossover.

I wouldn't waste the gas starting it up once a month during the winter
