undercoat gun, get a cheap or expensive one? #343848

i am trying to recreate the undercoating on my 70 cuda inner quarters. any opinions on getting the cheap shutz gun from eastwood or get the more expensive gun? i haven't used one and wondering which would be the one to get? thanks for any help. thanks moparts

I got a cheap one, the trick is in the air pressure. I was at 40psi with the undercoat I used and it came out just as ugly as the factory stuff

I got mine from harbor freight tools and worked great. $10.00 I think.

I have both...The expensive one $200 I bought from Wurth. It looks the same as the Eastwood one.
I prefer it over the cheap one only because it's fully adjustable....

I still haven't master the factory EXACT look....it just take pactice

I got it at a paint store for 14 bucks, but it looks like something from harbor freight

thanks for the advise. looks like the expensive, fully adjustable is the way to go, or take alot of practice and waste alot of material with trial and error on the cheap one? still up for debate? anybody have finished pics and starting pics to compare? thanks
