I'm just curious because my local track has the pro and super pro running 1/8th and bikes and sportsman running 1/4. I'm geared for the 1/4 so I might be leaving a little et on the table, but am I the only one?

67 Barracuda street car, 408, e85, 1.38 60', 6.44 @105.9 in the 1/8 mile, 10.19 @130.5 in the 1/4...so far....

For the 1/4 mile, if the motor is setup for it, just run 400-500 or so rpm above shift point, and the 1/8th will be fine. Then you won't have to complain, "I can't run the full 1/4 mile I am geared for the short track..." 1993 Daytona, 5.50 at 130mph (1/8) 1.19 sixty ft (PG). Link to 572 B1 - Part 1

I ran in the pro class this weekend. This was my first time running 1/8 mile. The car ran consistent 7.17's and I made it to the money rounds...PAY DAY!!!
