Getting ready to build our new car, strut front/4-link Mild steel, we have done 2x3 cars before, but we are kinda thinking of going rd tube this time around. Car will be a bracket/super class car. What would keep you all from going round tube? Thanks,
Curtis

Everyone I know, who didn't use moly on a serious build....regretted it. Too many good reasons to use it.

Well, we currently have two mildsteel cars, and don't regret a thing, they serve there purpose well for us and I understand the pros and cons of both materials. When I build my roadster in a few years it will definitely be moly, but for an 8.90 door car built to bracket race, the mild steel will suffice. I don't sell anything, so the resale value is of no concern.

Thanks,

Curtis

I originally was going mild steel because I thought moly would be heaps more expensive!Turned out moly was only £200 more and would save me over 100ibs in weight so guess which I went with!
