YES.. this is a real MOPAR event.. Its an annual car show and race that draws in a couple hundred cars or so.. Some are there for the show, the others are there for the bracket racing.

Don - I don't think this is a Mopar only event like at Sacramento because West Coast Pro Gas is also racing that day - so is regular Super Pro and Pro. I think there will be Mopar only classes - but other brands will be there running for points.

That's my dilema - I run WCPGA - so do I race for points, or do I race in the Mopar only? I am not interested in double dipping and beating on the car.

I've got a fresh bullet and am looking to race it anywhere I can,so I'll definetely be there. Bill,are you sure they're running a regular super pro and pro race in conjunction with the mopars?They always ran us with the super categories but never with another bracket race.

The rest is pure speculation about how they would do it - I've never been to a Mopar race at Infineon before.

Well - if anyone needs Brad Penn oil I'm stocked up right now and can bring it to Infineon. I also have a 5 gal pail of C25 and 3 - 5gal pails of C16 VP Racing Fuel.

Well it is a Mopar race, as Jeff pointed out. They will have other brands there running the .90 stuff as well but the bracket classes will be Mopar only. Oh yeah for those who dont know some of the best racers up here are the Mopar guys, including that guy with the red car who posted already I am thinking of double dipping as I need more testing time with the stop as we are starting over from square one. At this point I am just hoping the weather will cooperate.

Oh yeah Baconfest is also happening at the Infineon show, for those interested or seeking info go to the general board. Stu has a plan to feed a few folks from what I understand.

The points bracket race is on Sunday the 7th and will be all classes and makes along with the .90, .60 and IIRC Top Dragster as well. So for guys coming from down south they can stay Sunday and get a taste of bracket racing NorCal style.

Of course if you are a Mopar only guy then on Sunday the 7th there is a Mopar show at Ohlone College that day, really good show and swap and I am torn as to what to do that day as there are some parts I am looking for.

For what it is worth... Infineon's web site indicates that it is a Mopar race on the 6th

I'm in. This is the best bang for the buck. Last year I got in 8 runs with 5 being practice runs. looks like the weather will hold out. Thinking about staying up for sunday as well.

I should be there breaking in my new SRT8 Challenger I am picking up Thursday night.

I'd love to stay for Sunday too, but I have to go to Ventura for Sprint Car school. 120 laps in a full-race-prepped sprint car at Paul Kruseman's school. Talk about the polar opposite of drag racing. From going as fast as possible and trying NOT to turn to going as fast as possible with the car whipped against the steering lock!

All the ET classes on the 6th are MOPARS ONLY.
