I set this car up originally for 1/4 miles now all the tracks have whimped out and gone 1/8 mile programs car has 32x14 with a 4:88 gear 416 with TA 8" solid roller cam right now I am crossing the strip at 6k would it be worth the change to go to say 5:38's or not 70 duster full chassis super pro 416 CNC Indybrock heads 727 w/brake best so far 1.212 60 6.219 in 1/8 at 110.88 9.768 at 137.81 1/4

S/ST 3040 master S Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 4,595 On the south side of Nowhere	I think steep gears slow down cars with a lot of torque by making them operate outside the RPM range they like to work, especially with a light car. I'd guess 4.56 w/32" tire........just don't tell Lonnie.
