I set this car up originally for 1/4 miles now all the tracks have whimped out and gone 1/8 mile programs car has 32x14 with a 4:88 gear 416 with TA 8" solid roller cam right now I am crossing the strip at 6k would it be worth the change to go to say 5:38's or not

best so far 1.212 60 6.219 in 1/8 at 110.88 9.768 at 137.81 1/4

Honestly Woody, if your gonna go 1/8th only I'd put a set of 5.57's in it with 32" tires.

I think steep gears slow down cars with a lot of torque by making
them operate outside the RPM range they like to work, especially
with a light car.

I'd guess 4.56 w/32" tire........just don't tell Lonnie.
