If you have the heads off I would put the headers in first

Well I will probably run the engine on a test stand first with a different set of tubes.I will install the headers in the body first then lower the engine in with the bell and starter assembled while I guide the headers into place on the way down.

Thanks buddy. I am about 2 months out of major back surgery and right now I am living through all you guys that are building and changing your cars.

I'm hoping to be able to get back on my tools before the end of summer. The one nice thing about living in Florida is that our winters are normally great for working on cars. I can't wait. My 65' Coronet 500 has been calling my name for the last 2 years. It's about time I answer..

I hear ya man
I had a new left hip installed(clutch leg)and had to sit out a few years pre-and post surgery while in pain and recovery.
Now I am very excited to have a "REAL" engine between the rails
