Were the tinted windshields on 70 E bodies shaded?

I installed auto glass from 75-81 and I never heard of a clear/shaded WS.. Not to say there is no such thing, but I have never heard of one..

I have one in my 70 'cuda, but it was put in a few years ago and I know it's not original. The glass guy said he could even get different colors of shading.

I checked my 70 challenger & 70 roadrunner. Both cars have all tinted glass with tinted, shaded, & cracked windshields.

Here's what the glass guy put in my 70 cuda. He told me they all came this way originally ( yeah right), but the car had a shattered windshield when I got it, so I didn't know. He said this was the blue/green version and he could also get a yellow/orange, or if I really wanted it, he could special order an all clear.
