I am working on getting a new helmet and wanted it painted "different" I have read that helmet mfg's frown on painting them since it can lead the shell to crack ? Suppose there is any truth to that or , is that just a legal thing if you crash they can't be taken to court ? Anyway, I am looking into option #2 ..wrapping one Holy mother of god is that $$$$ !!!! This place wants $900-$2000.00 depending on the design WHAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.360wraps.com/360_Wraps_Dallas_Texas_Vehicle_Wraps/360_Wraps_Home.htmlWhat does it cost to do a car then pics of some they have done http://picasaweb.google.com/360wraps/Helmets#guess mine will just stay white

Find a local guy that does work for a bike shop.
Lots of talented airbrush artists out there...

The manufacturers may frown on it, but helmets get painted all the time. Wasn't it either Eric Medlen or Tony Pedregon that was doing a lot of airbrushing on the Pro drivers helmets a while back. They did a segment on TV about it, and I don't remember any negative feedback about it.
I think you can get a whole car wrapped for around $3000 + labor. Doesn't Chassisman have a print machine that can create wraps? Maybe he can fix you up.

Yes...I can either print it and send it with an install DVD for around 2200....or get the car out to California and help do the install and I'll do it for 3,000.

Olson Paint and Body works in Northern Indiana can get your helmet done for around $450. They do alot of NHRA cars. Indocil Art is the best I have seen on helmets but they are around $550.
AFCO, Rons Fuel Injection sponsored Dodge Challenger
