What should I use for rear end grease in a 8.75 SG
Not sure if it's a cone or clutch type the carrier is a 741.

Unless the unit was changed it's a clutch. you will need run a friction additve, BG has always worked good for me. If you buy something like Red Line gear lube or Royal Purple gear lube they already have the additive.

If you haven't put the gears in yet and could get a picture posted to us, we could tell you whether it's a clone or clutch. I've yet to try the Royal Purple stuff, but I hear it's good. As stated, it will have all the additive that you'd need
