how do you id disc brake spindles for a 69 b body I am starting to question if I have the correct parts the caliper hits the rotor when bolted up I know the calipers are correct but not sure of the spindles or rotors also if anyone knows what the diam of the rotor hat area is for the correct rotors this has turned into quite the mess thanks for any help will the bendix caliper bolt to the newer style spindle??

My repro one piece rotor had clearance issues with the caliper also. Had to have the rotor machined a little. Wasn't much but now it clears it.

What rotor do you have and NO the original caliper will not bolt directly to a newer spindle , at least I never tried it or heard of anyone trying it ... I do have 73 up A body spindles and my calipers in the basement though

I have 1 piece rotors that came with the car the caliper hits the part of the rotor between the lug studs and the rotor face someone ground the old calipers to fit just noticed that is it possible that I have newer b body or e body rotors? would like to make sure I have the correct spindles before spending anymore money for rotors I have a ton in this stuff now and the car is not even a disc brake car as it turns out I thought trac pack cars all came with disc brakes but shame on me sort of got duked on this deal
