The arms have to be shortened to allow the rack to give full radius. That will also give you a chance to relocate the end for proper bump steer. If you have swapped them side to side to put the rack out front, no other mods, you will have severe tire scrub going around corners due to wrong ackerman angle. Also, length of the rack center section and rods has to be correct and all items properly located to get the bump steer right. Check the Mopar chassis manual for info.
