Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a new switch for my '69' GTX? Year One sells a conversion kit,but I'm not about to spend $129.00 for a switch! Thanks in advance for information on this matter! Randy Borawski.

I was able to swap the guts from a new 68 into the 69 only housing. No problems and its been in for a couple years. Have to be careful it has many small parts.

good luck

That conversion kit is cheap compared to what some NOS vendors get for the switch.

Thank You for the info Scott! I didn't realize that could be done. Thanks to everyone else that responded! A '68' switch is 1/3 the price of a '69' switch, according to the Van's Auto Parts web site that Bill A. sent over! I'll give it a go,carefully,as stated! Thanks again! BTW, Bill, have you had good luck in the past dealing with Van's? Maybe I'll try them, or Year One. RandyB

Go with Vans, they are great people! I buy all I can from them. There parts are excellent and they spent a ton retooling the 69 ignition switch that nobody else wanted to do.

Me personally, No - I've talked to him at shows in the past in regards to carrying some of the product line he has produced.
I know several who have had delt with Van and I've never heard anything negative.
