Is it ok to run wheel spacers with 5/8 studs? I've got alittle issue with my new wheels and need to bump them out a bit. Would a good set of spacers be ok?

I gave a friend of mine a set of dimensions for a set of wheel spacers and he created an Auto-CAD file for me.
I purchased the 6061-T6 Aluminum plate and took it and the Auto-CAD file to a local shop that does Water-Jet cutting and came home with a beautiful set of spacers.
Next, I drilled 4 small holes in the spacer and drilled corresponding pilot holes in the wheel and screwed the spacer into the inside of the wheel.
Why did I do this? Because fixing the spacer inside the hub of the wheel effectively makes the hub thicker and look like a single piece of material.

We have run up to 1" spacers with 5/8 studs.Just use a good fitting spacer that registers on the axle hub.

my spacers are hub centric so you don't have too much slop that can end up causing an off balance condition. also mine are made from 6061 and not brittle like the cast ones. anything over 1" thick should be an adapter with its own set of studs.

I remeasured today and I think I can get by with 3/4 to 1" so I should be good to go then. I hate having to put cragar super tricks in place of my welds but it's the only 10" wheel I could find with such little backspacing
