Trying to find out what torsion bars I have.
Where is the number? on the anchor side? I cant find them anywhere.
There is a little dab of paint on the left side, but I cant tell if its brown or orange. It looks more brown to me, but thats because Id rather have the .92, so my eyes might be playin tricks on me.
BTW, 69 B body if it matters.
Thanks

Put an adjustable wrench on it, then measure the opening.

yeah, I just realized that, Ive been under the car with a flashlight looking up and down the bar for small casting numbers. Haha.
Anyways, the drivers side has 780 on the anchor side and the pass has what looks to be 327.
I see that the 780 is a .92 from 66-71, but what is 327? a casting date?
Can I check the other side (LCA side) without having to fully remove them? I hear they are a PITA to get in and out.

so the 780 is on the drivers side, but after looking thru some posts, everyone says that the odd numbered are on drivers and even are on passenger. So whoever installed these put them in wrong? Should I take them out and swap them?
