I’ve had good luck with their heads and water pump housing. Six weeks ago I installed their $100 starter. At a car show the selonoid wouldn’t disengage and the car kept cranking after key removed. Sent it back on my $20 and 440source delivered a new one today. Bench tested OK. Installed, send power to it and nothing, but there is a power draw. Bench tested and the unit (testing selonoid only) draws power but bendix doesn’t throw gear.
I have ZERO confidence in this POS. I bought an AC Delco from Rockauto ($103).. sorry Brandon…I HAVE ZERO confidence in your starters.

Definitely a part I'd be buying from the local part store. Considering inflation as of lately, a early failure of $100 part would have it as a core for the next one for me.

When buying a "mini" starter you need to stay with the original DENSO brand starters and not the Chinese knock-offs. Mancini carries the Denso starters that work and will last longer than your engine will twocents

another reason to get one from the bone yard [if possible] and replace the contactor set.

Used Dakota or Durango starter and fresh contacts make for a good starter on the cheap. beer

I have a relative who bought an expensive MP mini starter years ago, and it sure looks like an OEM Dakota unit only for a lot more money.
