Has anyone had any dealings with Passon Performance? I ordered a shift linkage repair kit on 4/29/24. I received an email from UPS (message text was garbled, so no tracking number) indicating it was shipped on 4/30/24. I have not received it and I cannot get any response from Passon. Does anyone know what their situation is or if this is usual customer service for them. Any insights would be helpful. Thanks

I don't have any insight to your problem but I wish you could get his 5 spd transmission!

I typically buy from Brewer's, not that it answers the OP's question, but I've always had great service, solid info, the correct stuff, and quick shipping from them.

Yes, I buy only from Brewers. Great service and it’s run by a family of people. They just have more boots on the ground.

I’m looking at a 5 speed conversion. This is another example of why I’m going to stay away from Passon. I took all the issues this vendor has had and compared with others and it’s just not worth the aggravation of dealing with them. He may be a nice guy but he has too many minuses against him. Dealt with Brewers in the past and they’ve always had their act together.

It's real easy. Get ahold of Yellowstone Garage.

He decided to invest in the project and started backdooring units totally ignoring anyone on the list Passon had for years.

Answering the call of the wild
NOTE: there were 3 people who made the 5 speed possible.
John Huff, Jamie and Bill the gear guy are the 3.

No one was a late comer. Understood?
As for the back dooring comment that too is not accurate and i will say no more as it does not matter as is it none of your business as to what transpired between PA and WY.

John invested a fair amount of money in this endeavor; what did you-all invest?
I visited John while riding thru Wyoming in June 2022, It was a very interesting visit, he is quite the mopar person.
I met him back in the 80's at the CC Street Machine Nationals when these turds were just used cars, They are still turds and used cars

As for availability call John.

If he was there in the beginning, why did he bypass everyone that had been on a wait list with Passon to deliver for YEARS?!

Well, here’s the problem. None of the information in the above link was EVER discussed about GFI and the 5 speed muscle information. It was not until much later any one here learned of Huff. If all this was discussed from the beginning, and everything was upfront, there would not be all these hurt feelings. I’m glad someone dumped money into the development. I’m not going to say anymore here.

I have used Jamie for a couple of projects and he has always given me good customer services. I also purchased an A855 from him. True, I was on the list for longer than a wished for, but he kept his promise and delivered it.
He is pretty much a one-man-show, so getting a hold of him can be a challenge at times.

I have bought 4-speeds from both Brewers and Passon, both are capable, knowledgible Mopar experts..
The last 4 speed I bought from Passon was his 18 spline OD unit as I wanted a transmission with new gears not a rebuilt with 60 years old recycled gears.
The Passon OD unit worked out just fine, fit well and shifts good. The gears were noisy at 1st install time but after 500 miles they quieted down.

Just my $0.02... wink
