I have cooper discoverer AT3 XLT's in LT285/70r17 on my wife's FJ Cruiser & 74 Ramcharger, and also have them on my F150. I absolutely love them, they work great on the texas beaches with blow sand (or sugar sand as some call it) and are nice and quiet on the highway. I've got 75K miles on the ones on the FJ Cruiser and they're getting a tad loud so a new set is in the future.

They don't make them in my tire size ( 245/70/16)....
That's why I mentioned the Toyo and B.F. Goodrich brands.
I am leaning towards the Toyo's at the moment, but have to do some more research.
Yokohama makes an A/T tire that might work as well.
I had General Grabber AT-2's and those were good, but I don't think they are available anymore.
