I want to replace the AM radio in my '70 Cuda w/ a AM/FM radio and new speaker (front center). The only radio I can find is from Classic Car Stereos for a hefty $865. Does anyone know of a lesser expensive unit. Also, what size is the speaker and where can I get one from. Pic of the Classic unit is attached.

Might talk to these guys about adding FM and bluetooth to your existing radio

Thanks Sniper. They are expensive and I don't really need/ want bluetooth. I'd be lucky to HEAR the radio!

I'd get a smaller radio to hide, preferably with some sort of remote control, before spending that much on one

That's not even a correct 1970 radio. 70 is a roll dial.

For 865 you can get great aftermarket radio plus 3 or 5 speakers.

Not sure where you get they are expensive, gone are the days of cheapo Sparkomatics at Kmart.

They have a factory AM radio, already converted to FM and bluetooth for sale that fits my 65 Cuda. $325, that is less than half the price you mentioned.
