I recently purchased this Mopar Part# 3466159 Charger Filler Tube to Trunk Floor Seal.

Looks nothing like the flat ones being reproduced. I have had a couple people now tell me theirs was different than the reproductions.

Most notably on this used on is the one side has about a 1/2" rubber covered metal "lip". In online Charger trunk pictures, I can see the bend in the trunk floor where this would fit. And the "neck" to seal the tube. Kinda like the E body seals.

Are there different versions of this part from 68-70? Cause why would all the reproductions just be flat? And none have the "neck" on them either like this used part.

Can anyone share pictures of thier OEM seal and verify that part number (that number is molded into the used part in the pictures).

This is a picture of a 68 Charger trunk flloor. You can seen the dip in the floor where the seal above would seal. But the seal in the picture doesn't look like the used one above. It's flat. No Neck. And no lip. Was 68 and 69/70 dfifferent?

So I cant find that 3466159 Part number anywhere. Just a close 3466158 whick is for a 71 Dart/Valiant EXPORT.

After diging thru the 68, 69 and 70 parts books I find 2880424, 2962176 and 3404530 for the 3 years of this part. Why 3 diff part numbers?

I’ve got an original 70 charger at the shop with the original gasket. I’ll look for you.

I have a late build (327) 70 Charger RT that was very complete when I bought it in 2003. Here my gasket. It’s just like yours.

Thanks for the picture Mark!!!

Looks like the same part number as mine too. That part number is NOT in the parts manual. Wierd! I checked all the parts manuals from 68-74. If you Google that number the only part that comes up is the one I bought off Ebay.

I can understand that they would add the "neck" on the later rev of the part. Also 70 Chargers have a lot of 70 only items.

Welcome. I’ve built a couple of 68s and working on a 69 right now. I’ll have to look at those parts. I guess the floor pans between 68/9 and 70 may be different? Idk.
