I drove a black 82 4-speed with those wheels for a couple of years 1987-1989, I wish I had never sold it. I did buy an 83 Scamp about 10 years ago that had a custom paint job, it went to Japan! Never really liked the factory red and orange, but this one is sweet!

I have always liked those. My dad bought an '83 Turismo brand new, with the same color, as this car. Larry, why shouldn't you like it? Everything doesn't have to be a V8 RWD with 600hp to be fun. This looks really good, even though the sellers description is not the best. I would convert it over to fuel injection also.

it looks like a very nice clean car. the front lower fender part without a bumper spoiler looks odd. in todays market prices $15K isn't that bad of a price. i have offers for more than that for a 09 Jetta Smyth UTE conversion once i finally get around to finishing it.

Yea... but these were always sorta cool... 83 Omni.... maybe not so much. Wasnt there a type of sport model Omni with the 2.2? That would be good. That's awesome, I drove an 83 Omni back in HS... brings back memories.
