Picked up a 52 Dodge pickup thats rust free. Been a muscle guy my whole life but for some reason got an itch for learning flatheads and performance with them. Looking for some parts for the 52 , if you have a 48 -53 sitting i could use a few little thing. I like to rescue these old vehicles and breath life into them. Let me know. Thanks

Mopar made 4 different version of their flathead six motors, 215 C.I. Plymouth motor, same block and heads for the 230 C.I. Dodge light duty passenger car motors, 252? C.I. Desoto motor that shares the bigger, longer block with the 264 C.I.(?) Chrysler passenger cars, bigger (D500 and up) Dodge trucks, marine and industrial motors scope

The 23" blocks are Plymouth 218 & Dodge 230". Approximate bore pitch cylinders #1-2, 3-4, & 5-6 are 3.5625” apart, cylinders #2-3 & 4-5 are 3.875” apart
The 25" blocks are 237, 251 & 265" for Chrysler, DeSoto, Dodge truck. Approximate bore pitch cylinders #1-2, 3-4, & 5-6 are 3.750” apart, cylinders #2-3 & 4-5 are 4.500” apart

These engines respond to mods similar to H-D flathead engines
