I'm try to help a friend build a 225 slant six for a 1980 shorty van. It has a overdrive 4spd manual transmission and a 331 gear. He wants to travel In the van so has milage and easily climbing hills is a priority. I think I have narrowed it down to two cams from Oregon camshaft.

Any idea which one will get better gas mileage?
As of now the block is bored 30 over and the pistons are 190 in the hole. Haven't milled the heads or the block yet.
Heads have been bowl ported and valves have been back cut.
Thanks in advance
