This might help folks who don't need a resto lower hose @ $35 or so, but can't get anything but the ribbed stuff at the parts store:

Dayco # E70664, $17.49 @ my local AutoZone, cut down to fit.
NOTE: the car I installed this on has an aftermarket aluminum radiator, pass side hose connection.
My "pattern" is visible in the photo, hose is before final trimming to length, which I adjusted at radiator end.

If I understand your question - it reads like it had auto-correct "help" - engine & rad are both right (passenger) side - that's why it's a simple L.
There may be another hose that would work, but the one I mentioned is what they keep in stock.
No idea what the application is, but it worked great.

Aluminum water pump LAs has pass side lower inlet, cast iron water pump LA's had driver's side. Not the same hose shape, hence the question and both are available molded in the aftermarke from both gates and continental

70-76 A body hose

67-69 A body

64-66 A body

Ah, OK - I should have mentioned that.

when i need a hose that i have no idea what application will work for what i want, i have some of that "chrome" replacement flexy stuff that is made to replace the heat "stove" connection from the air cleaner snout to the exhaust manifold tin work.
i form it to the shape i need, then off to the parts store to see what hose comes close to being able to go where it needs to.
the nice thing about using that over a piece of wire, being a somewhat full size model, it will show if there may be any interference issues anywhere along the way. wire may not show this, being skinny as opposed to "full size".

That works, as long as it holds its shape.
Indeed, a wire form can be misleading.
May be hard to tell, but that's some aluminum fuel line in the photo.
Held it centered in to both openings, tweaked to fit, triple-checked, and it retains that shape.

i certainly agree with your "as long as it holds it's shape" statement.
you need to be very careful handling it after forming it's shape, but the stuff i have is quite a bit stiffer than the stuff originally used for that purpose.
