I really struggle with the search function, so I apologize if this was already discussed.
On a Victor Jr. Hemi head I think the exhaust valve is rotated slightly to allow a larger intake valve. Is that correct?
If true, then the valve & rocker arm are closer to hitting a stock valve cover?
A good friend of mine told me that he believes a beehive spring & the much smaller retainer will prevent the retainer from hitting the valve cover, is that correct?
Thanks Craig I've built a few motors with Victor Jrs and 1.55" regular springs and haven't had a problem. And I don't think anyone else has either.

I have a set of heads on order at Summit... maybe they will ship this year. Side note: Please keep posting youtube videos of your KB engine assembly, I really enjoy them. Craig

The way I look at it is that it moves the spring away from where it normally hits the valve covers. Which beehives on their own should eliminate the problem of the spring/retainer hitting the valve covers.
