Saw this picture on my Facebook group and was wondering if it was real or fake. Could some kind of AI make this up? But part of me wonders if a hard bounce after a wheel stand could do this. Pretty cool.

Hard to say but it is a cool picture and an awesome looking car. I have seen a high wheelstand pick the back wheels up but nowhere near that much. What I have seen in person was a car wheelstand, bounce, wheelstand again and get air under it and the car went airborne- like a lot- and then come down on all four. It was wild. It was a modern factory stock car and those are pretty quick.

I don't think any real photo would have such a clean demarcation from tires and smoke underneath and around.

Seems like a very heavy car to do this from tire shake, my vote is fake.

Me and a buddy ran TAFC for a number of years, we did this from server tire shake, not quite that high either. Was a very expensive pass for us too. Broke one fire bottle off the frame, cracked the chassis in multiple locations, cracked the body, broke the crank and made the block in to one of the ultra rare see through versions.

It's AI. It doesn't say anything legible on the grill. AI is going to put a lot of rendering companies out of business.

x2. AI has problems with text, hands, and other random features. AI images are popping up all over the place like this, some look more real than others.

I believe this is fake. But, it is fake made from a database of real images, the track may very well be real but the car is obviously fake.

Its not only pictures that are widely doctored- video clips too. There's $$ to be made when people click on and comment about a clip or video- even if that comment is calling out a fake.
