Best guys in the business, I've found. Powder and ceramics. They treat your stuff like they owned it, and treat customers as family. http://i40.tinypic.com/2cyqlva.jpgPic too big!

I'm going to replace my SB headers, and am debating whether to buy the $100 summits and get them coated by QC, or spend $280 on flowtechs that are already coated. my non coated (just painted with eastwood stainless steel paint) have surface rust, but have survived suprisingly good over the past 6 years (with 2 1/2 years of year round driving here in west MI. if I spend more than twice as much to get coated headers, I want them to last twice as long. one benefit to coating is I can weld in O2 bungs and put any clearance dings in I might need before coating.....

I had a set of already coated TTI's, they looked as nice as the QC headers, but the second i got some oil burnt on them, there was no way to get that off. If i burn a little oil on the qc header, most of the time it was able to come right out with metal polish. Just one difference i have found with the QC coatings finish as opposed to one of the larger header companies.

Bob
the quoted me $220 for some full length small block headers, which compared to some other quotes I got (*cough* Jet Hot *cough*) seems very reasonable.
anyone run any stuff ceramic coated from them in a year 'round application? just wondering how it held up.
All im going to say is you get what you pay for. Quality work isn't always the cheapest, and the stuff QC does is alot better then jot hot in my personel opinion.
Quality is what im looking for and closer to my shop not cheap pricing !
that is a reason why ive been sending them to florida from ohio
i will be trying the QC coating for sure with all this good feed back
thanks againBob

I ran Jet-Hot for a long time on my Dakota 3-4 years with no issues, until I dropped the dang header one time while it was off. Chipped a spot about the size of a dime off. BUT the chip/cracks didn't seem to spread like I thought they would. JetHot was good for me. If I had someone closer I'd give them a chance for the same price. Price does not dictate quality.
