I must be behind. Haven’t seen it mentioned.
Ad in PRI mag for KB Engines. New management. New location. Updated products. Hemi and wedge. Nice.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Tim moved his entire shop and operation to Florida some time ago. I'm thinking their are three equal partners using that name now as well as maybe even Ken Black stiill in CA also, maybe not I know there was bad blood on the original deal years back as well as a court settlement, but I don't have a clue about the settlement and who can use that Business name still

I am assuming that Darren (I forget his last name) has sold up his stake in the business? Tedder, was his last name.

I am assuming that Darren (I forget his last name) has sold up his stake in the business? Tedder, was his last name. I may be wrong here, but I didn't think Darren Tedder was involved? I think the Darren (Beale?) that was/is part owner was from Australia? There sure seems to be shadiness going on. Ads in magazines, posts on Facebook, but I don't think anyone other than Tim Banning can actually get his hands on a KB block.

No it was not. It was Darren Beal. Darren Tedder is a nice guy in Georgia who built some wicked hemi motors. Darren Beal is an Australia business guy who tried to run KB and only ran it into the ground. Ask me how I know????? One day when I have time I will tell you guys that whole story, but not today. Still ongoing/ Todd

My mistake. It's been a while. I know the talk was big, but seemed all you could do was buy a T shirt on the website...

Full page ad inside current PRI mag. Not going to screenshot it here since don't know if it would break any rules.

Still ongoing/ Todd Thanks Todd. He was a former investment banker if I recall, based in Queensland. Years ago he was asking for advice on buying a engine machine shop and ended up buying in to KB. Prior to buying in to KB I recall him posting pictures of work he was getting done on his 68 Charger. Victor Bray, the now Vice President, has been advertising KB blocks here in Australia for sale. No idea if they are actually in stock or not. They are $14K Aud over here, he's got a reasonable mark up on them. I could buy one out of the US and ship it myself for about $2-3K Aud less

I have 3 KB Hemi alum blocks to be used someday for something. All are old 90's top fuel car blocks that have been passed doen over the years. I have paperwork from KB on 2 of them one was a Connie Kaliita block, one was a Mike Dunn block and the 3rd has a Mike Dunn signature on it for some unknown reason.

Thanks for the info. Just to put the puzzle pieces in order here so I can understand better, when you say "we", are you part of the KB/FHO organization? Thanks and best of Luck to TIm Banning.
