Might be sick. I had one try to attack me but it threw up and died just before it made a run at me.

Yep around here they are very common. We also have a few American Bald Eagles that usually fly alone or with their mate so if you see three or more large birds flying above or within sight they are most likely turkey buzzards around here.

So common around here in the Cleveland and Hinkley Ohio area the longtime Cleveland FM Rock radio station has had the buzzard as its mascot:

I got a closer look and it has web feet.
I tried a few ID websites, but nothing matches. Whatbird was the go to, but sadly, it is gone frown

That's one of nature's garbage disposals.

Thanks!
First I ever heard of one. Fairly common, and has a variety of markings.
This one almost acts like its waiting to be fed.

I pass this apartment building on my way to work every day & see a bunch of these creatures hanging out. Sometimes they're walking around in the lawn but many times they like to perch on the building in the sun. On cold winter days when the sun is out they will spread out their wings as far as they can to absorb the sun's heat. Ugly bastards up close, but they are really cool. cool

Not a turkey Vulture they don't have webbed feet and the whole head is red. Probably a muscovy duck. People keep them as pets and it might have gotten loose.
