Hi all,
Around the mid to late 70's I bought a 70 440+6 Road Runner from a guy (team) out of Lansing Michiagn.
I use to watch them race it at 131 Martin Dragway (old name)
I think they also raced a 'Cuda that might have held the record for a while.
It had two names painted on the quarters and I can't remember what the names were and it's bugging the heck out of me.

I still have the car.
Anyone out there know of the car?

Dick Griffin was a racer that was originally from the Lansing area. In the early '70s he ran Mopars, first a '69 440 Cuda and latter a '70 Cuda 440-6 in Stock Elim. I don't know if he had a '70 440-6 Road Runner. By '73, he was out of Mopar Stockers and into a '72 Olds wagon Super Stocker, I don't think he liked the rule changes made to Stock in '72 (more like Pure Stock, OEM exh manifolds, DOT street tires, etc).'The GO Shop' was one of his sponsors.

I think McCormack was one of the names!
You guys are great.
I'll check out the link that someone posted also.
Anyone know or remember the car?

Why not call Jack McCormack?? He runs a tire/wheel business.

I tried them but it's not Jack's place.
They said to try McCormack Motorsports.
I'll see what I can find on them.
Thanks
