What a weird rear axle swap to do on that car.

Maybe the guy wanted disc brakes on the rear ?
I would think that a 318 Duster would have an 8.75, but I could be wrong on that.
I'd be remiss if I didn't complain about the boy-racer (or is that boy-ricer ?) wing laugh2
That and the black hood - another mod that just looks odd to me - hurt the car, but obviously some folks like that stuff.
Seems like a pretty clean car, given the few photos posted.

The wing is awful, as all go/gull wings are. It looks like a good car, reasonable price.

Seller showed pics of the axle, but zero mention of the brakes on the car ? shruggy
I think my Duster's (originally a 318) axle is original, to the car, have to check the Broadcast sheet though.
I don't like the mis-matched green wheel center caps.

It should be an 8.8, seems to be the cheap way to run a decent rear now a days. see a lot of the cheap turbo ls guys using that rear, usually out of an explorer. One axle is longer than the other so they cut down the long side and use two short side axles.
