What have you guys found for an aftermarket undercoating that replicates the Mopar oem style undercoating on our typical 66-72 era cars? I have tried several over the years and never really been happy with the results. Closest I have found is 3M Body Shutz but it is awfully messy if you are just trying to patch a small area. Any ideas or suggestions?? (Yes, I understand I can scrape it all off but my hemi GTX has it and I want to touch it up)

Thanks

I tried a bunch of stuff on a '63 I did years ago - all too thin & "watery".
Bought some Resto Rick stuff and it was WAY better.
Still a bit thin even with a schutz gun, takes multiple coats.
Anything you use is messy as hell; put plastic drop-cloths everywhere !
Factory stuff looks like stucco, and obviously hosed on.

I use Resto-Ricks undercoat. I've found many thin coates with lower than specked air pressure works best.Let it air dry over nite 1or 2 lite coates next day and call it done.See any spots you don't like, touch them up.

I've been using Rusfre with a little reducer (spirits) added and am satisfied with the results.

Bonus, in my area it's available locally for the same price as it is online.
