Brunswick, NJ and Wantagh, NY (Long Island)

1971-1984

Is there anyone in this group that lived in the North, East, or South Brunswick area that will remember a certain 1971 'cuda?

Original dark gold - average car usage until around 1975.
Possibly sold new at McDonagh Chrysler in East Brunswick. Original dealer name may have been Lackeys?

Painted Silver Imron some time in late 70s.
Street racer apparently in Brooklyn NY, drag racer at Englishtown.
Nick named "The Ghost"

Owners
1. Young couple maybe bought it new. Possibly had a ski rack on roof.
2. Jeff Conger - neighbor to the young couple - possibly removed the original engine and it is now in a 1983 Ram Charger?
3. Irman Tamasko - possibly lived on Omaha road or Huron Road or Sioux Road in North Brunswick - turn car into a drag car raced it. Sold in 1981.
4. Howard P. - 1981-1984 (I have spoken to Howard)
5. Mark Warterman in Wantagh, Long Island, NY 1984-?

I know there was a 71 440-6 project not too far down the road in Howell NJ many years ago but I recall it to be a shaker and I think rubber bumper & louver car - but it was a long time ago. Was it one of the promos or whatever possibly? I always wondered what happened to it. I even had the opportunity to buy it for 11k, but it may as well have been 111k, I was just a kid. Owner also had a 440-6 R/T SE Challenger and some other cool stuff.

If you haven't already you might want to also try asking around on the "Englishtown Memories" (Raceway Park history) page on Facebook as there seems to be quite a few still on there from back then, someone may remember it.
